This page is maintained by Valencia Water Company (VWC) to provide our customers with up to date information about VWC’s proposed tariff changes that are pending approval by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). As a utility regulated by the CPUC, VWC can only change its tariffs by CPUC approval of a formal filing. A filing is referred to as an “Advice Letter” or an Application. Below is a detailed listing of VWC’s pending filings before the CPUC with an explanation of which tariffs may be modified by the filing.

On January 4, 2010, Valencia Water Company filed Application No. 10-01-006 with the California Public Utilities Commission requesting approval to increase its water rates for the years 2011, 2012, and 2013.

On July 2, 2010, Valencia Water Company filed Advice Letter No. 130 with the California Public Utilities Commission requesting approval to update its tariffs giving Valencia Water Company authority to accept credit and debit cards as bill payment options. If the request is approved by the Commission, the Company will update Rule No. 9, Rendering and Payment of Bills and its Table of Contents. All protests or responses to this filing should be sent to:
